Aled holds a PhD in Materials Engineering and an MChem degree from the University of Liverpool. He has over 10 years' experience in the development of advanced bio-based materials, and invented the BioSintering technology in his basement over the COVID19 pandemic.

Dr Periklis Petropoulos

Senior Engineer

Periklis holds a PhD in biomaterials at the University of Manchester and holds a MEng in chemical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He has depth of experience in a range of manufacturing techniques and scaling processes.

Thea Luckcock

Lab Assistant

With a background in visual art and a keen interest in developing practical laboratory skills, Thea brings a fresh perspective to the team and informs tile design and style.

Matthew White

Commercialisation Advisor

Matthew has over 25 years experience in technology, product and service innovation. He has an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University. Matt Joins the team as a Director through a partnership with Frontier IP Group PLC.
